Stock average price calculator

In plain words

Add each purchase with its number of shares and price. The average price is the total cost divided by the total shares. It shows where the stock must trade for your holding to break even, before charges.

Calculating…

For example, 100 shares at ₹250 and 50 more at ₹220 make 150 shares at an average of ₹240.00.

Common questions

Does the average include brokerage and taxes?

No. Add your charges to the price of each buy if you want them included.

Does selling change my average price?

Selling part of a holding does not change the average price of the shares you keep.
